Applicants cannot reopen submitted DS-160 applications. If there is a material change requiring information to be updated, there are two efficient ways to reuse information from a previously submitted application to create and submit a new/updated DS-160.
The Visa Bulletin summarizes the availability of immigrant numbers each month for: “Final Action Dates” and “Dates for Filing Applications,” indicating when immigrant visa applicants should be notified to assemble and submit required documentation to the National Visa Center.
The primary purpose for providing the requested information on this form is to report a change of address.
